Architectural Statement
A single building envelope encompasses three individual residences of varying size and philosophy. Architecture and Interiors by Cera Stribley Architects rethinks conventional apartment design to present a residence distinguished by size, intimate detail and grand statements of liveability.
Edition No. 1, The Arc Residence, is a single level residence of rare proportion and accomplished design. Rather than an open bold gesture, the design is intended as journey of discovery. A curvaceous entrance is a grand and unexpected presence of brickwork across a fluid, sweeping form that draws the eye deep within the building. Inspired by the winding banks of the Yarra River, the expression continues inside, where the curved walls of the corridors hide and reveal moments while gently guiding the follower through a series of beautifully crafted spaces. The confident, rectilinear lines and simple volumes of the architecture reoccur throughout the residence, reappearing in the tall, framed windows, crafted joinery elements and sculptural features that give space its unique character.

to its tranquil, leafy environment. Architecture defies standards, removing the barriers
between inside and out, to reintroduce nature and modern life in a uniquely luxurious way.
Without assertion or interruption, the residence belongs to the landscape. Inspired by
the winding banks of the Yarra River, curved, flowing hallways, staircase and sculpted
forms connect thoughtfully conceived spaces that are generous in both size and materiality.
Innovatively crafted natural materials bring the outside in to deliver a sublime sanctuary
with remarkable open living areas, refined private escapes and large outdoor zones that have
been designed as an authentic extension of the residence’s liveable space.

The main living spaces are thoughtfully composed to bring the family together while a generous study presents as a refined retreat. The outdoor terrace is a serene open space with a plunge pool, spa and beautifully crafted outdoor dining and lounge zones.
